Steps of Peace — Walk lightly, carry peace

The Steps of Peace program is an initiative to raise awareness of Dru's work, create space for creative leadership in our community, meet new people and connect with dear friends in the Dru community. Walking has always been a way to connect — with the land, with one another, and with the truths that unite us. In the spirit of Indigenous and pilgrim traditions, Steps of Peace brings together blessings, stories, yoga, meditation, and meetings with people dedicated to peace and compassion. Each step is a chance to walk gently, honour the earth, and deepen our connections.

Dedication

Our mission is to dedicate 108,000 steps to every new student coming on the Dru Yoga Teacher Training Course in February 2026.

We are aiming for at least 20 students! That is 2,160,000 steps!

We will definitely need your help! If you would like to contribute to the count, please get in touch!

We invite you to walk with us, host a gathering, or sponsor the journey — each step helps write the next chapter.
