About
Join senior Dru tutors Janavi Scharbow and Joanna Bencke for a nourishing weekend of movement, mantra, rhythm and joy in the beautiful Southern Highlands. Together we’ll explore the Garuda Dance, a powerful Dru Dance sequence choreographed to music and inspired by the eagle. Garuda invites us to rise above the everyday, move with grace and strength, and experience a greater sense of freedom, clarity and perspective.
Why Garuda Dance?
Feel energised, uplifted and alive
Garuda Dance brings movement, breath and rhythm together in a way that can quickly shift your energy and reconnect you with joy.
Fly with grace and power
Learn the Garuda Dance of the eagle and experience a felt sense of lift, as though the body remembers how to fly.
Stand in your power
Tap into the potent Garuda energy for empowerment, freedom and clarity, and reconnect with the strength of your own centre. No dance experience is needed, just a willingness to move, breathe and explore. This is a small-group weekend, with a maximum of 20 participants so there is space to move, learn and enjoy the dance fully.
