Deb Ryan

Enews Coodinator

Victoria

My journey with Dru began in 1999 when I began the Dru Yoga Teacher Training course. Dru arrived in my life at a time when I was seeking a better way to do life! So, what started as a personal exploration soon became a lifelong path of learning, teaching and transformation.

Over the years, I’ve shared Dru Yoga and Meditation with people from various age groups and cultures. Supporting others to discover their own capacity for personal growth remains one of the greatest joys of teaching.

The call to give back came strongly in 2002 when I began volunteering for Dru in various ways, including teaching on and managing local courses and writing the fortnightly Enews. Volunteering has become a powerful force in my life and has opened up a greater capacity to care jofully!

In 2017 I took on the role of office manager which gave me the honour of being in touch with countless Dru community souls… something I have truly treasured.

Over the years I have developed a deep appreciation for the yoga of sound and mantra, teaching on the Dru Sound course and sound workshops.

More recently I’ve been studying Vedic Astrology (Jyotish) and enjoy reading astrology charts for clients, family and friends.

When I'm not teaching or studying, you'll often find me outdoors with a camera in hand or with a group of yogis. I’m an enthusiastic amateur photographer—I love spending time in nature—in the mountains, by the water, bushwalking and simply being present to the beauty and stillness of the natural world.
